MIE Teacher Academy
The Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Teacher Academy offers one-hour, three-hour, one-day and two-day training sessions for K-12 educators wanting to learn more Microsoft's tools, technologies and resources to integrate technology into their teaching and learning. Session topics cover Microsoft tools including: Office 365, OneNote and OneNote Class Notebook, Windows 10 and more.
Collaboration Tools: OneNote and Teams
In this learning session, educators will develop an understanding of Microsoft's OneNote, OneNote Classroom Notebook and Teams. Educators will be guided through the collaboration and organization tools. Administrators and teachers will learn how to effectively use and apply these tools in their practice to improve productivity for themselves, their team and their students.

Makey Makey Certification
This workshop is a fun hands-on learning experience where you'll learn how to teach Invention Literacy, Making, and Design Thinking using the award winning Makey Makey invention kit. We'll explore how to teach circuits and conductivity, then put our skills to use designing your own inventions! Participants of the five-hour workshop earn a complimentary Makey Makey kit and become a certified Makey Makey educator.
The micro:bit - It's anything you want it to be!
The Micro:bit is specifically designed to encourage children to get actively involved in writing software for computers and building new things, rather than being consumers of media. This workshop prepares you with everything you need to know about the micro:bit, how to program them and how to incorporate them in your curriculum. By the end of this workshop you will know how to write programs for the micro:bit using the block editor. No prior coding or technical experience is needed - this is suitable for everyone. Each participant will also keep the micro:bit they learned with.
Fostering Computational Thinking Skills to Enhance Understanding of Math Ideas
This session will lead you through the process of introducing foundational coding concepts to your students while applying computational thinking skills that can impact their achievement in mathematics.
