Martha's tweet set the stage, "Titans of Education" indeed!

Brenda Sherry, a former classroom teacher, technology coach and Vice-principal and Peter Skillen, who has 50 years experience in education, joined us this morning in the #FCLStaffRoom. Brenda and Peter currently work with TakingITGlobal (TIG), a Not-for-Profit that empowers youth around the world to make it a better place. Under the TIG umbrella is the Code to learn program, which offers free resources to Canadian students and teachers to help them learn coding, robotics, computational thinking, and 21st century skills. In the wake of Covid-19, TakingITGlobal has launched Code to Learn@Home, which includes free live learning sessions for students of all ages.

The chat involved so much more than the current offerings of TakingITGlobal. Brenda and Peter brought experience and passion, adding valuable insight to this complicated situation:
