ActivLearning Customized is a full or half day course where Fair Chance Learning will customize your ActivLearning professional development workshop to ensure that our training courses are in alignment with your achievement goals as an institution.

Core Essentials is a one day course where participants will learn how to create basic flipcharts and gain an understanding of ActivInspire’s basic tools and capabilities. Educators are provided with step-by-step instruction and provided the background for building knowledge and application.   Instruction is hands-on with integrated Canadian curriculum examples, focus is cross-curricular, and participants will be granted access to the Level 1 online course, provided with take-away resources, a manual, and offered access to Fair Chance Learning's online Professional Learning Community to extend learning beyond the ActivLearning course.

Core Essentials Part 2 is a one day course where participants build upon basic skills acquired in Core Essentials Part 1.   Participants will learn ActivInspire tools including the object browser, layers, magic ink, creating graphic visuals, grids, math tools, and further integration of internet resources. Embracing technology as an engaging learning tool to improve student achievement is a focus. Materials are cross-curricular. Participants will be granted access to the Level 1 online course, provided with take-away resources, a manual, and offered access to Fair Chance Learning's online PLC to extend learning beyond the ActivLearning course.

Beyond The Essentials will continue your journey into the Promethean Activclassroom.  You will learn about additional toolboxes, browsers, how to integrate outside resources, and how to enhance existing resources to meet your instructional needs.  Participants will be provided take away resources, a manual, and offered access to Fair Chance Learning’s online PLC to extend learning beyond the ActivLearning course.  Enrol in ActivLearning today!

ActivClassroom Assessment is a half day course designed for educators using ActiVotes, ActivExpressions, or ActivEngage. Participants will be able to construct ActivInspire flipcharts which incorporate sound questioning techniques using ActiVotes, ActivExpressions, and/or ActivEngage. The purpose of this course is to focus on ActivInspire’s learning response software and question pedagogy. Hands-on support and training includes, but not limited to: registering devices, constructing questions, use of question master or express question wizard, exporting results, exploring higher order thinking skills and questioning strategies.
